I am asking for help to rename the six photos of mine. Here are the following six pictures that I requested to move:

Your issue on “ran into the uses of File:Hamza Choudhury 24082024 (2).jpg” has now been solved. The only one you need to do is Move from File:Hamza Choudhury 24082024.jpg to File:Hamza Choudhury 24082024 (1).jpg Timmy96 (talk) 05:51, 1 August 2025 (UTC)

Jeff, I presume you did not see that I had already pressed him for the reason for what I though was a bad request, and asking why he wanted to do it this way. If the goal was simply to change the name of File:Hamza Choudhury 24082024.jpg to something with a number, then that could have been changed to File:Hamza Choudhury 24082024 (6).jpg without affecting other files. And if the goal was something else, he should have made it clear what exactly he was trying to accomplish. (Unless, of course, there was something clear to you that made sense here, and that I have missed entirely.) - Jmabel ! talk 02:12, 7 August 2025 (UTC)

I think if we want something like that, we should allow it to be overridden (e.g. be able to choose to say "hit me up on my talk page" or "ask here, I'll be watching this page", etc.). I'll add it. - Jmabel ! talk 19:43, 7 August 2025 (UTC)
